SAVE A LIFE DAY. In Honor of National Public Health Week, the Darien Health Department is participating in a statewide Save a Life Day Nalazone Training on Wednesday, April 8th, from 6-7 pm at Post 53, 0 Ledge Road. A limited number of free Narcan training kits will be offered ot training participants. For more information, email papazidis@darienct.gov.

Services Include:

Perform annual health screenings for vision, hearing, and scoliosis

Provide illness and injury Care, including first aid, management of chronic conditions, and response to emergencies

Ensure the safe administration of prescribed medications

Support community health initiatives, including compliance with state-mandated health and immunization records

Active members of the 504 and PPT teams for students with health concerns
